The Astra Coat is a long, cold-weather hooded outerwear designed in water-resistant and comfortable Ventile cotton. Together with its shorter twin jacket, the Altair, both were designed with a winter exploration theme in mind.
Constructed with strategic seam lines, darts and a three-dimensional pattern, the Astra Coat protects the wearer in a subtle cocoon-like silhouette. Its windproof, wool fleece-lined high collar keeps the wearer warm, while the three-point adjustable hood can fit different head shapes and sizes.
The Astra Coat is made in a robust medium-weight Ventile – a breathable, water-resistant pure cotton textile that needs little introduction as one of the most popular natural technical fabrics that the industry has to offer. As with any cotton fabric, it will develop a beautiful patina on its creases and folds over time.
The technical features include:
- Water-resistant cotton face fabric
- Ultra-soft wool-blend fleece-lined removable collar
- Functional hood with three-point adjustments to fit different head shapes and sizes
- Hidden placket with 2-way YKK Vislon zipper closure
- 3 x zippered pockets on the front
- Multiple storage compartment on inner garment
- Soft high-elasticity ribbed cuffs
Please note: the Astra in Ventile fabric will be available for production in January. Each batch of fabric is limited in quantity, orders will be made on first-come-first-serve basis.

Production Time
Each item is made-to-order to ensure the least possible wastage of materials on our end. On average, production time takes 2-4 weeks, depending on seasonal fluctuations.
Shipping
We ship worldwide via DHL or SF Express. The estimated shipping duration is 5-7 days. All parcels are fully trackable, with signature upon delivery.
Shipping cost and transit time:
China: $5 (next business day, free for Wechat payments)
Worldwide: $38 (5-7 working days)
While ROSEN is not responsible for customs duties and charges, we will do our utmost to assist you in minimising these charges by marking down the value of each item to $20-$80, depending on item type.
Order Processing and Cancellation
Once we have received your order, it will take 24-48 hours for processing. We are able to make amendments or cancellations to your order within this time. We will contact you to confirm sizing and measurements to ensure that the garments will fit as expected.
Quality Assurance and Returns
At ROSEN we strive to deliver the highest level of customer service, pre- and post- purchase. While we do not accept returns of merchandise, we will work with customers to fix any sizing issue that might arise. Mistakes made on our end will be compensated accordingly. Ultimately we aim to make the clothes that meet or exceed expectations and will always work with customers to achieve that goal.
