ROSEN Orwellian Overcoat in Cotton Canvas
The Orwellian Overcoat as a ROSEN fan favourite has been included in the new 2024 Amur collection. With a cocoon-like voluminous silhouette and oversized storm flap, it suits layering over relaxed outfits, like our ever-popular Plato Suit. For ROSEN Amur, the Orwellian has taken on a new character in a tailor-made, half-lined, heavyweight cotton canvas that will develop wear and further texture. For those who love traditional and Eastern-inspired aesthetics, the Amur Collection's Orwellian is our most robust iteration of ROSEN's most popular longstanding coat.
This textured, heavyweight cotton version in black is being sold alongside the ROSEN Noon Orwellian, which is available in a lighter, softer cotton-linen available in dark blue. One further difference in the Amur Orwellian is the introduction of a cuff strap, adjustable between two carved horn buttons.
The Orwellian is one of four in the Amur collection all using ROSEN's new textured, structured pure cotton canvas. It is hardy and robust for everyday use, easy to care for, and remains breathable enough for trans-seasonal wear. Like all heavy-duty cottons, the fabric will develop a beautiful patina over time. As a tried and tested traditional coat fabric, such heavily textured, pure cotton canvas is made to last the wearer decades, or even longer.

Payment
All prices are shown in US dollars. We accept payment via Paypal. For customers who would like to pay via Wechat, please scroll to the end of the section.
Production Time
Each item is made-to-order to ensure the least possible wastage of materials on our end. On average, production time takes 2-4 weeks, depending on seasonal fluctuations.
Shipping
We ship worldwide via DHL or SF Express. The estimated shipping duration is 5-7 days. All parcels are fully trackable, with signature upon delivery.
Shipping cost and transit time:
China: $8 (next business day, free for Wechat payments)
Worldwide: $38 (5-7 working days)
While ROSEN is not responsible for customs duties and charges, we will do our utmost to assist you in minimising these charges by marking down the value of each item to $20-$80, depending on item type.
Order Processing and Cancellation
Once we have received your order, it will take 24-48 hours for processing. We are able to make amendments or cancellations to your order within this time. We will contact you to confirm sizing and measurements to ensure that the garments will fit as expected.
Quality Assurance and Returns
At ROSEN we strive to deliver the highest level of customer service, pre- and post- purchase. While we do not accept returns of merchandise, we will work with customers to fix any sizing issue that might arise. If mistakes were made on our end, we will compensate for alterations or make a new replacement piece. Ultimately we aim to make the clothes that meet or exceed expectations and will always work with customers to achieve that goal.
